Scene 1- going to detention/introduction
Voice over telling the story of how Kyle ended up in detention, starts as fade in starts.
Fade in from black, start background music really low and build up quietly.
Introduce main character with face shot and zoom out to take in background as Kyle is walking down a corridor.
Camera is rolling away from Kyle on wheels/dolly. Is a set distance of about 6 steps from Kyle and goes at the same pace as Kyle, as Kyle walks towards camera.
When it zooms out the background is blurry and comes into focus after we can fully see Kyle.
Kyle is walking the length of the corridor telling his story, about 4 steps from the detention door, voice stops telling the story.
Camera1 stops on far side of door, camera2 set up directly across from door at hip height.
Character, still facing camera1, turns to the detention door in silence and opens it and walks in.
Camera2 watches character enter room, door closes, in a shutting loud bang that implys being trapt, camera zooms in on sign saying detention.
Music keeps playing but starts to fade out as door is closing.
Once camera2 zooms in on Detention, pause for a second, starts to zoom away and fade out to black.
