As a kid everyone dreams of being a superhero and never actually does become one except in their dreams, our project is like this idea, a kid dreams he is a super hero but in the end nothing comes of it.

We seen examples of this from saturday morning cartoons and some children’s shows where someone might be a super hero.

Here are a few examples of ideas that we think inspired our project:

Walter Mitty

Walter Mitty is a character from a T.V show in the 1947, its about a guy who has a really vivid imagination, he always sees himself as teh hero in completly unrealistic situations. He doesnt always gets to finish his dream because he is disturbded but the ending is not left open.

Ralph Phillips

Ralph Phillips is a character from Looney Toons, he again is a day dreamer but this time just a young boy who can never seem to keep concentration.

Calvin and Hobbes

Calvin and Hobbes is a comic where Calvin imagines his teddy tiger to be real and his friend who talks to him and helps him in his adventures. Calvin also has a vivid imagination and images the world around him to be fitting to his most recent thought or about a comic or story he is reading.

Make a Wish Foundation

This is a charity foundation that helps people to have their greatest wish, in one episode they give this little boy a chance to be a super hero for a day, they take over the city of  Seattle, there is a story created for the young boy and he gets to go around the city playing out his dream.

Kick Ass

Kick Ass is a film that was released in 2010, it is about a guy who sees problems with the society he lives in,  he wants to change how it is by standing up against bad guys by dressing up as a super hero and going around as a vigilante, he has no super powers but its his dream of being able to do something that makes it worth watching, the difference between this film and our idea is that the super hero in Kick Ass is real and the superhero in our idea is all fictitious and ends up being a flop with no effect to anyone.
