2/12/10

This week was the week the snow was very bad but we still got in to meet with Dan on the thursday and showed him our storyboard which he taught was too detailed and encouraged us to use CeltX, from the meeting we decided it was the best opportunity to get footage as the college was virtually empty because of the snow , we got equipment off Dan which included:

go pro head cam

2 tripods

7D camera

2 canon HD cameras

Dolly with track

clapboard

normal dolly

We then called our actors Jamie (young Kyle ) an Salin (bully) and while we where waiting for them we decided to do the lunch scene with Matthew , we went to the canteen and got a tray, knife, fork ,glass , chocolate milk ,bread , toast , an apple , sausage , an egg , broken egg shell, and a fried egg to use for our stop motion.

We shot the stop motion up in the Linc building in the meeting hall

When jamie an Salin arrived we got them to give there profiles on video then we went threw the script with them and made clear what they had to do.

We then done the dream falling apart running scene with Matthew and Salin.

This scene involved Matthew using the go pro and running from linc to f block in the and getting some last revenge on the bully.

When we got to F-block dan showed us how to set up the dolly track and we started to shoot the walking scene with Matthew and Jamie both were wearing the same school uniform this scene involved the dolly being in front of Matthew and Jamie as they walked , both footage was identical only difference being the fact that it was a different actor.

The last scene of the day was shot in A block in a small classroom (A1) which was ideal for mocking a school class, this scene involved the dolly track being the full length of the classroom with the tripod being low down just above desk level. Jamie and Salin where in this scene the scene stared at the back of the class focused on the bully trowing the paper balls and moved up the classroom to Kyle and his reaction to the paper hitting him.
